  1.                         PRODUCTS OF FUE (tm) by Filbert Firx

  3.         In its prime FIRX Enterprises produced a number of items, both
  4. for resale and internal use.  The major product line was home furnishings,
  5. but most of these are no longer in existence, or even remembered.  The
  6. traveler of FUE will encounter a few of the items made for use by employees
  7. of FIRX Enterprises, still for sale by vendors.  Some are described below.
  8.         As FUE expanded, it became harder and harder for the various workers
  9. to move around in the course of their duties.  As a solution, Felix Firx the
  10. First provided, for a nominal charge, the MasterMap, an automatic mapping
  11. device.  This proved to be inadequate, so the Visiloc was created, which
  12. located one's position, and various items of interest nearby.  These devices
  13. worked well, but as FUE grew in complexity a device designed to remove
  14. partitions between workplaces and offices was needed, so WallBang was
  15. introduced and became an instant success.  Eventually, even these three
  16. miracles of MagiFax ( see `Questor's Bible') were not enough, and the
  17. Squink, the penultimate apex of FIRX genius, was born.
  18.         Towards the end of FUE's decline, beebles and other vermin became a
  19. serious problem.  The BeebZap provided relief in this regard and was widely
  20. hailed as the saviour of FUE, which of course it turned out not to be.
  21. There were just too many beebles.
  22.         Several other products were developed, such as the Nebulator,
  23. perhaps apocryphal, and designer wallpaper in many delightful colors.
